Born in Valdepeñas, La Mancha. She started her dance studies at an
early age when she attended classes at her local dance school. Ana took
her exams on Classical Ballet and Spanish dance at Malaga's Conservatoire.
Later on she realised she wanted to make Flamenco her career and embarked
on her committed studies with some of the great names of Flamenco as Maria
Magdalena, La Chiqui de Jerez, Adrian Galia, Rafaela Carrasco, Eva La Yerbabuena,
etc. in Madrid, Seville and Jerez.She has been teaching successfully in
England since 1993 an has a wealth experience with adults and children. She is in great demand as a teacher and as a performer.She
has been a regular guest teacher at Birmingham University (drama &
dance department), in Chester, London, Banbury, Gloucester, Bristol, Nottingham,
Derby and Birmingham. At present, she has just started performing with
her new Flamenco dance company, "Alma", highly acclaimed in
the UK and Worldwidealongside. |
